OH-MY-GOSH! These are quite possibly one of the most decadent cookie bars I've had in years! They are also a snap to mix up and throw in the oven... I mean SERIOUSLY simple - as in dump-mix-bake. Try them! Try them! TRY THEM!

- 2/3 cup shortening + more for greasing the pan
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13" baking pan with shortening.

|Mix well until smooth and fluffy.|
|1 tsp baking powder|
|1/2 tsp salt|
|2 cups all purpose flour|
|1/2 cup chocolate "chunks" (chips would work fine)|
|1/2 cup white chocolate chips|
|3/4 cup chopped walnuts|
|1/2 cup coconut|
Bake ~ 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13" baking pan with shortening. In a mixing bowl, cream together the shortening, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Slowly blend in the salt, baking powder, and flour. Mix until well blended. Fold in the remaining ingredients (chocolate chunks, white chocolate chips, walnuts, and coconut). Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan. Bake ~ 30 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting the bars.
